He completed his medical education at Temple University School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. With nearly 25 years of experience, Dr. Alonso is board certified in internal medicine and has been running a successful primary care office, where he offers a range of services including hormone optimization and weight loss programs. Throughout his career, Dr. Alonso has demonstrated a commitment to education, mentoring medical students, residents, and nurse practitioner students. His enthusiasm for teaching has not only contributed to the growth of future healthcare professionals but has also fostered a culture of continuous learning within his practice. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Alonso is actively involved in organized medicine. He has served as the past president of the local medical society, advocating for the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike. Furthermore, he holds the position of president in a local non-profit organization dedicated to bringing graduate medical education to his region, ensuring access to high-quality training opportunities for aspiring physicians. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Alonso finds joy in the outdoors and indulges his adventurous spirit through flying.
